Our community is a great place to live. We enjoy beautiful streetscapes, many heritage residences, parks and open spaces that form part of our local environment.
But our amenity is under threat from inappropriate development.
The Andrews Labor government’s new planning laws allow higher-rise, higher-density developments incompatible with our suburbs’ character. Labor is giving VCAT more power to override local councils and residents.
- “unlimited” dwellings on each block in Neighbourhood Residential Zones
- height limits raised to 11 metres (three storeys) in General Residential Zones
- more medium and high density development in Residential Growth Zones
I’m asking you to sign my petition to send a clear message to Premier Andrews: protect our amenity and stop inappropriate development in Stonnington.
With your support we can help protect our community. Please sign the petition.
